When I started reading this book I wasn't much into it. After about 50 pages through though I got a bit curious about the Daemon guy which is exactly what the writer wanted and I fell right into the trap. I am not sorry to read the book though. It was good. The main protagonist Katy is my favorite character in this book because when the book started she was a 'let life pass me by' types and then she started to grow and stood up for herself as the plot grew more and more twisted. Daemon is that kind of a character who starts as 'gorgeous' and 'I don't give a damn about you' and then we get to know him through the eyes of Katy that that was just an exterior shell of his to keep people away from him and not let anyone come close enough to see his vulnerable side. The plot starts out as a bit predictable but then midway through it twists. So if your a patient kind of person you can count on enjoying the book. I personally was going to give it a three star but the extra star is for one of my favorite scene in the book.
After two whole days of not reading anything I finally started on 'Obsidian' by 'Jennifer. L. Armentrout' which is actually selected for my this month's read by someone else. So initially I don't really get into it much but now I am curious (just a bit). And suddenly the main protagonist is talking about designing her blog when it struck me that I should do that too! So this is my new and a bit improved blog. I will of course post a review of this book when I finish it!
